RESEARCH AND EXTENSION The research wing of the college is structured in a set containing research, publication and extension. For the time being the research is functioning on short-term (five years) research program. In the research program participatory, multidisciplinary and demand driven research directions are identified as working motto. In this line the research interest areas are social and agroforestry, regeneration and seed ecology, energy and fuel wood, nursery techniques and technology, soil survey and analysis, wood utilization and processing, non timber forest products, forest protection, forest management and etc... The research wing publishes a biannual newsletter aiming at disseminating current information in the science of forestry and environment. Research progress reports, Bibliographies and communiqués as well as flyers are also printed. CONSULTANCY AND ADVISORY SERVICES The college is planning to make available its potential and assets by creating an organizational setup for expert and consultancy services.
